Very easy to use. Just fill with very hot (boiling) water for 5 – 10 minutes and then pop your hot soup, stew, whatever into the Foogo. It’s still hot (not warm)after 4 – 5 hours. Love it.

I was disappointed to find that the inside of the lid is plastic which means that hot foods like soup will come in contact with it. Nowhere does it indicate which kind of plastic it is and that’s a problem for me. I don’t put hot foods in plastic because of the issue of chemicals from the plastic leaching into the food. Does anybody know if the other Nissan containers have stainless steel inside their lids?

I read great reviews on this thermos and am happy to have picked it. I am living in Italy and couldn’t find one that worked for my son’s lunches. So I was sending him to school with cold pasta. I was hesitant because photos on the internet are deceiving. It’s a perfect size for a toddler, or even an adult. But it’s not too big either. Now I don’t feel bad sending him to school in the cold winter as long as he has his hot lunch

As far as I can tell, this product works well. I decided to purchase this brand over a Pottery Barn item after reading terrible reviews about it (it leaked, it didn’t keep food warm) and reading good reviews for this product. It lived up to my expectations.

My son has been taking his great new Thermos Foogo to school every day since it has arrived at our house and it works like a charm! He is on a very restricted diet (intolerant to most sugar, grain, dairy, and soy products) which eliminates sandwiches and many other things that he would prefer to bring to school for lunch than what I send him. Once this arrived, he has been taking hot meatballs & sauce, barbeque pork, soup, cut up turkey burgers w/pizza sauce, taco filling (w/o shell)and any leftovers that travel well. He loves it! Thanks Foogo!
