I liked the characters but the coarse language just detracted from the story. The writer should upgrade her word skills and keep writing.

I bought this book a few weeks ago thinking i’ll get around to it when I can. I finally did read it and I wish I would have read it sooner. I loved the characters and the scenes between Raphael and Cyn are my favorite. The only part I didn’t like was the to be continued at the end of the book. I ordered the second book, Jabril as soon as I finished Raphael and I can’t wait for other books to come out in the series.

Raphael by D. B. Reynolds keeps the pages turning. Her heroine is smart, sexy and independent, her hero is very unapologetically a vampire and together they keep the action fast paced. It’s a hard book to put down.
