I bought this after reading the glowing reviews and have to say I don’t understand how these folks rated this so well. Yes it would make perfect patties except for the fact that the patties stick to the plastic and break apart when you try to remove them. Yes, you could use wax paper to help, but to me that kinda defeats the purpose.
Don’t waste your money.

Does not create an even sized burger, very difficult to get the meat out but will do for the price.

This thing is awesome! I use it at least once a week! I buy hamburger in bulk and patty them out to freeze and this has cut my time in half. Puts the dimple in the burger to help it cook more even and faster! I would reccommend this to anyone who makes a lot of hamburgers like I do!

I made up some hamburger patties and froze them and they even kept shape and cooked up nice after defrosting them. Worth the money

If you want uniform burgers then this is a great item. It’s cheap and saves the hassle of guessing how wide and thick the burger will be. After a couple of uses, the patties will start to stick to the piece with the dimple and will not release when flipped over. To solve this I just use a butter knife, or anything flat, and run it 1″ deep all the way around the edge and then flip it over and it will release without a problem.
