Product Description
Once a devoted children’s librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she’s now a vampire. And instead of a bride, she’s an eternal bridesmaid — which leads her to question where exactly her relationship with her irresistibly sexy sire, Gabriel, is headed. Mercurial, enigmatic, apparently commitment-phobic vampires are nothing if not hard to read. While Jane is trying to master undead dating, she is also donning the ugliest bridesmaid’s dress in history at her best friend Zeb’s Titanic-themed wedding. Molly Harper proves her skills once again in the sequal to Nice Girls Don’t have fangs. It’s a hysterical story of Jane Jameson adjusting to her new vampire life as she prepare for her best friend Jeb’s wedding and trying to get in nice with her family at a recent funeral and upcoming Christmas. Mama Ginger is trying to get Jeb away from his fiance and into the arms of Jane who only have fangs for her sire Gabriel. With a psychic who can mind slap her in Ginger corner things aren’t easy for Jane. Even more so when old high school friend Adam learns she’s a vampire and being a vamp groupie wants to be more than friends with her too. Also Half Moon Hollow black widow Jane’s grandma has met her match in her latest fiance. Its romance for the generations alive and dead all around in this story.

I thought Molly Harper couldn’t keep up the great writing (Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs) but she did. Her first book truly kept me laughing out loud. The reviews said it was that funny, so I dove in ready to be disappointed but as I’ve said, I wasn’t. It was superb. When this second book came out, I was afraid it wouldn’t be as good as the first, but it was very funny with a bizarre wedding and wild intrigue between the family members thrown together. Even with all the action, Ms. Harper provides more depth to Jane’s story. In this book, you feel like you’re really getting to thoroughly know the characters and their world while still getting a lot of laughs. I won’t slow down buying the next book; I just hate having to wait a few months until it comes out.

This series is an absolute perfect escape from everyday life. The characters are believable (trust me…I have family like that!) and the laughs are continious. Can’t wait for the next book!

I have read both of Molly Harper’s vampire Jane novels and am looking forward to the next one. It is a great escape from reality book that has a good deal of humor laced throughout. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys vampire books of a more fun loving nature.
