This carton of fruit is perfect to play with for a child. They look like the real fruit and yet are safe for any child to pretend that they are eating the real thing. My two year old grandchild loves them

brightly colored and durable, this is an absolute must to go with the fruit/lemonade stand. The kids all loved setting it up and selling the different items.

The only thing I was disappointed at in this toy is that the fruit/vegetables are true-to-life size, which would seem like a good thing, except that most other similar toys are in miniature. I would have preferred smaller objects in keeping in with other child kitchen items.

As mentioned by previous reviewers, this product is tops! Not only does it look like the real thing, it is made out of sturdy plastic with a nice matte finish, which is unlikely to chip off (like sometimes occurs with wooden Melissa & Doug products). My son just loved these fruits and the veggie set that we bought as well. Highly recommended!

Initially I ordered the Learning Resources food that everyone raves about – but it had a terrible chemical smell and for the price I didn’t think the quality was very good. I ordered this food to replace it – and I LOVE it – couldn’t be happier.
Very high quality, no paint or chemical smell at all. each piece has a great attention to detail is very realistic, and is a nice size for my daughter (nearly 3 years old). I’m also pleased that I know it’s a safe product because my year old son loves to put the pieces in his mouth. He carries around the two strawberries – everything is so cute!
My daughter hasn’t stopped playing with her food since she got it – she loves it. Great product!
