I got this for my 15 month old son to play in the sand with. He loves it! I love how it is very strong and durable, the rope hand on the bucket is very comfortable and the pail also has a design inside to help build a castle. My son also has the Green toys chef set and dump truck and loves them both. Great company!

The bucket is a little small but otherwise the set is the best I’ve seen and the only one with the rope handle. Very durable and should last for years, unlike most flimsy plastic ones you have to replace each year.

This Sand Play Set from Green toys is definitely a Diamond in the Rough. It is nothing like the cheap plastic sets that will bend and disappoint. It is made from strong recycled plastic, that is BPA free, and is tough and sturdy for child’s play. We bought two one for each of our toddlers and they love them. It is recommended for children ages 3 and above but our 2 year old plays with it just fine (just watch younger children who may poke eyes with the rake, or want to put it in their mouths – though its safe).
PROS
1. Eco friendly and safe for young children and is made in the USA.
2. The beach bucket has a strong rope handle, (so no bending or breaking away from the bucket like plastic ones do)
3. Durable and quite stylish
CONS
1. Pricey (but you can save a few bucks by buying it here on Amazon, which is much cheaper than other retailers and toy stores).
OVERALL
Worth every penny and will last a lifetime.

I had Amazon send two of these sets to twin 3 yr old granddaughters. When I visited them we took the pails and sand toys to the park. The sand play set is very sturdy with neat rope handle. The girls played for a long time then we walked home and each carried their own pail play set. Great to find such quality and made in the USA.

Eco-friendly sandbox set? What could be better? It’s colorful, durable and kind to the earth! I know they have to say “due to small parts, not suitable for children under 3″ for legal purposes, but there are no small parts to swallow. My kid has been playing with it since she was a year old and she will continue to do so for a long time.
