I never had the insert with my first, but don’t think I could live without it now! Baby loves being so snuggly and close and it is so easy for me to out her in and get my things done. I love the Ergo carrier anyway, and I think this insert is ingenious.

My son is 7 weeks old now and we’ve had the insert for about two weeks now. He fits in the carrier without the insert ok and wouldn’t fall out, but the insert keeps him up higher so he can see out, as well as keeping his feet from falling beneath the waist strap. We love this insert and the carrier!! Worth every penny.

This insert is awesome for our little guy. We go on hikes everyday and he is so comfortable in it. I am glad that it’s winter right now cause I can not see using this in the summer. It would be wayyyyy too hot.

Works great to keep our little guy snug in the ergo carrier and he seems pretty comfortable, even though it can get really warm (surprisingly, he doesn’t complain about it!) Definitely an improvement from their old infant insert that just looked like a piece of cloth, this is sturdy and wraps around your baby nicely!

I was excited about the Ergo Heart to Heart insert and ordered it in preparation for the arrival of my son. With my daughter I loved wearing her using the old style insert; however, I did not have the same love for this insert. It is bulky and it makes snapping the Ergo more difficult. I used it with my son a total of 3 or 4 times until he outgrew it before the age of two months. Because he is now almost three months and still doesn’t have great head control, I dug out the old insert and have felt more comfortable wearing my son with it.
