A brief comparison of modern Pakistan and Pakistan 50-60 years ago

Preface
The reason of writing these facts is only to show that what our forefathers were and what they did to build our country and what we are doing right now. If we just have a look on them we could easily find that what real problem is.
The essay is divided in two parts. Part 1 is the about early Pakistan and early Pakistani peoples and there deeds. While 2nd one show our character and makes easy for us to find our problem. The facts and incidents mentioned are not fiction they’ve been taken from old magazines biographies and newspapers,

Part1
Nation’s Leader
Year 1947
During winter the city of Ziarat was as cold as ever and temperature was in minus. The TB stricken old Governor General of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah was in the same city Connell Elahi Baksh, the caretaker of Mr. Jinnah ordered two warm and air resistant trousers for Mr. Jinnah and asked Mr. Jinnah to wear them so he could keep him warm Mr. Jinnah asked how many rupees these trousers coasted.
Connell replied 1rupee only. Mr. Jinnah refused to wear that saying that he could not waste poor nation’s 1 rupee on a man who is suspected to die soon. It was same Mr. Jinnah who used to take Rupees 1500 per case per time when he was a lawyer in Unpartioned India.
Politicians
Year 1953
In those days there was neither security problem nor VIP transport. And also media was not as developed as now days so peoples could not recognize any leader by face.
A train from Lahore reached Gujarat (pak) and passengers were rushing out of it. It was midnight and not many Tonga (horse cart) were there. An old man was left there with no convince as all the Tongas were filled and about to leave. The old man went to a Tonga driver and requested him to take him to MNA’s house but the driver refused to take him saying that he has already 5 passengers and he would be fined by traffic police. The old man assured that he would pay the fine himself if he will be fined the driver agreed and carried him. After passing small distance the traffic police sergeant stopped the tonga and said that he would be fined for loading more passengers than space and fined him rupees 1.25 the old man asked sergeant to take rupees 1.25 and let him go but sergeant replied that it’s the court who is supposed to take fine. The man offered bribe of 2 rupees but he replied that he will also fine them for offering bribe and captured the Tonga. Old man said driver not to worry and he gave him address and said that tomorrow he will be their with his Tonga and fair as well and also asked him to forgave him.
The next day when the driver reached the given address he was shocked to see that in MNA’s house there were all the government and Muslim League members were there and between them was sitting the same old man.
And written everywhere “WE WELCOME CHIEF MINISTER OF PUNJAB ON HIS ARRIVAL TO GUJRAT”
Soon came there the old man and told him that he is Sardar Abdul-Rab Nashtar
Off course the chief minister of Punjab and senior party leader of Muslim League. Sardar praised the driver and gave him his Tonga back and also gave him rupees 3 for inconvenience.
He also told him that he has ordered to upgrade traffic sergeant for his fair job
Government Departments
Year 1947
It was September47 when Muslims from all over India were still coming to Pakistan leaving there all wealth home land etc. in the train which was going from Karachi to Peshawar entered an old woman she was very poor she told other passengers that she has got her 4 sons killed in India and the only one left is in Peshawar and she is going to meet him and spending rest of her life with him. Soon ticket checker came there and asked the old lady to show her ticket. The old lady did not had ticket she told the checker that she is very needy and poor so could not buy ticket but checker said “amma je as you know our newly born country is also very poor so I could not allow you to travel without ticket” . All the passengers also requested checker to took pity on lady and allow her to travel but the ticket checker prepared a ticket and handed over to lady and said ” amma jee our country could not afford these type of things so I am paying your ticket from my pocket. If we will be trade our country then what would we can expect from our enemy”
Saying this the checker passed away
No one knows who he was. Whoever he was he was a true Pakistani
Common Peoples
Year 1948
During 1948 war at Kashmir was at it’s peak both the forces were fighting recklessly but Pakistan army has clear lead due to support of locals and also due to fool proof planning of Pakistan army.
Indian army once attacked a village which was suspect of supporting pak army and acting base. After 2 hours of bombing no one was found alive in that small village.
2 days later Pakistani forces captured that village. A Pakistani Major Ali Hussain sent a scout for search for alive peasants. The scout returned with an old couple the male was about 80-85 year and lady was also 70-75. There clothes were torn and dirty it seemed that they’ve not changed them for 15-20 days maybe more.
They told that they used to work in fields on daily wages. They had no home, no children and nothing else to loose.
But then the old man said that he has something for Pakistan army
And then handed over a dirty handmade bag about 1 kg in weight.
When the bag was opened it was full of gold.
Then the old man said “babu je we’ve been collecting these since
Day when Indian bombarded our village. We could have been rich and could get enough money to spend our life in luxury and ease but we thought that you need it more than us .Pakistan our beloved Pakistan need it. We old people will die soon so it’s waste to spent this on ourselves and Pakistan will not die it will remain and remain till the extreme of time and at Qiamat we also would be proud that at least we’ve done something for our country”
International status and Respect
Due to devoted peoples and their hard work Pakistan was appearing to be one of the most developing countries and due to this and Pakistan’s geographical position all the countries were willing to have friendly relations with Pakistan

Nation’s Leader
Year 2006
Pakistan is one of the most poor countries of world but
President of Pakistan uses special personal plane. The respected president is on special mission of begging for aid and loan from USA, England, Saudi Arabia etc
Wherever he goes he is humiliated and deled like slaves but he is happy as they are promising for loan.
Politicians
The chief minister’s political advisor uses PAF’s plane for traveling from Lahore to rahim yar khan and then from rahim yar khan to dera ghazi khan just because he had flue.
Government Departments
Pakistan is ranked 3rd among the most corrupt countries.
All the government officers and servants are corrupt. International aid is also now planned to be given by NGO’s.
Common Peoples
In earthquake of year 2005 three men were arrested who were captured by police as they were cutting hands fingers and ears of dead women for collecting gold
International Status
Today Pakistanis are most feared all over the world.
Among the list of special search and accused of terrorism, and crime.
it’s not the poverty which ashames us against the whole world neither any thing else. it is our chracter as a whole nation. and if we would not be able to change it we may be removed as a nation from world(may this never happen)
