I was never satisfied with the sharpness of the Dell screen, and this seemed like a goood solution. This monitor is very sharp, wonderful in that aspect. But it is a widescreen format, so you can see large spreads of your work, but the format means you never see the whole original screen ever. You can adjust the size of the frames, of course, but it is annnoying at times, as the mouse can move the frame by accident, and does so quite frequently.It has several inputs–CGI, HDMI, etc., so a positive feature is that you can have two computers running that serve the scame monitor-I haven;t det the second one up yet, but the changing of inputs is very easy on the front panel. If I had to do this again, I’d get a 10880 full-sized large monitor.

This is a very good monitor that I’m so glad after a lot of research and decision-making, I bought this one! It has striking clarity and color! I have the Microsoft Plus app on my computer that includes a screen saver of a fish aquarium. The fish look almost real on this monitor!! I wish I could just turn the screen saver on full time to have what looks like a real aquarium on my desk! But, without the mess! I cannot say enough how happy I am with this ACER!

Bought this monitor for my parents. They had been using a 17″ screen and this monitor has made it possible to enjoy more of what their desktop has to offer. Image quality is excellent although it’s not exactly like my parents are playing first person shooters at a high frame rate. Videos play beautifully with no noticeable ghosting. The built in speakers are rather weak but I was expecting that based on past reviews. Only one HDMI slot but that’s all I would need. Limited swiveling capabilities but love that you can mount it. Overall, a great monitor in and of itself, but even more so when you consider the value it represents at its price.
